ELLAS CAB member Leseliey Welch featured in University Record

Leseliey Welch, a member of the ELLAS community advisory board (CAB), was featured in the University Record. The spotlight piece detailed Welch’s journey to a career in health disparities and applauded her efforts to improve public health in Michigan and around the globe.

In addition to her work as a public health professional and community organizer, Welch teaches women’s studies as well as health behavior and health education at the University of Michigan.

Welch brings her passion and experience to our team as an ELLAS CAB member. Her expertise and advocacy for women and LGBTQ people helps inform our research to improve health care in the Latina/Latinx community.
