ELLAS Hosts First Community Dissemination Event
On October 29th, ELLAS participants and their loved ones filled the second floor of CHASS for our first dissemination event. Disseminating, or sharing, our findings is an important goal of the ELLAS study. We work hard to make sure we are giving information back to the communities we’re learning from.
During the event, our CAB members Dr. Felix Valbuena and Dr. Richard Bryce gave a presentation on what we’ve learned so far. We also ate delicious food, played bingo, and made beautiful paper flowers with CAB member, Mrs. Rosas. Guests were even treated to a salsa dance lesson from our ELLAS team member, Gina Aliste!
